My beautiful, golden Cousin,
It’s so hard to say goodbye to a gentle soul. You brought such a light hearted goodnes to everything you did, to everything you touched. You and I were expecting our first children at the same time. Little girls....we were so thrilled that we were due in spring...bringing new lives into the world when all was new and green. We named our girls after that thought. It brings me comfort that someday, I truly believe, I’ll see you walking toward me across a beautiful field of fragrant Heather.

Shirley and I were really good friends in our Needville elementary school days. I always enjoyed her company as she was fun and delight to be around. We spent time at each others houses and had a blast. She came to our last reunion and contacted me when she moved so she could be invited to the next one. I had no idea she was going thru all this or I would have given her support.
Shirley - you are yet another light in the world dimmed out way too soon and I will miss you dearly. Thank you for being who you were!

My dear friend for many years, something compelled me to go to Heather’s Facebook page this morning and I am devastated to learn that you lost the fight. We went through so much together and you taught me so much with your zest and creativity. This has taught me that no matter what happens we should remain close to the people we grow to love, I loved you and I will always remember you❤️❤️❤️
