Shirley R. Edwards born April 17, 1939 went to be with her heavenly father, December 15, 2010. She is preceded in death by Emmit Eugene Parrish, Sr. She leaves to cherish her memory her loving husband of 41 years, William Edwards; daughter, Shelli Pierce and husband Rick; son, James Edwards; mother, Kathryn Parrish; sisters: Martha Louise Roebuck, Pearl Helms, Becky Sisco, Gail Wofford; brother, Emmit Eugene Parrish, Jr.; along with other loving family and friends. Shirley was a loving wife, mother, and member of Baptist Temple Church for over 20 years. Visitation will be from 5-8pm, Friday, December 17th at Brookside Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 3pm, Saturday, December 18th at Brookside Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Brookside Memorial Park.
