Shirley E Morris

Shirley Ennis Morris, born February 24, 1932, passed away June 29, 2017. She married Roy Morris in 1950 and they began their family together and raised four children. Shirley was an immensely dedicated mother and wife. Soon after their first child, Shirley was stricken with polio and has dealt with Post Polio Syndrome for most of her life. Roy never waivered in his deep love and dedication to his wife. Shirley was preceded in death by her beloved husband Roy Morris, daughters: Marsha Lynn Morris & Nancy Leigh Archer. She will be greatly missed by her daughter, Diane Reich & husband John; sons: Richard Morris & wife Marla, Ronald Morris & wife Kristy. Additionally, she leaves nine grandchildren: Bradley Morris, Sarah Reich, Brian Archer, Adam Morris, Michael Reich, Mark Archer, Jason Morris, Emily Morris and Amy Morris. Shirley was proud to be a great grandmother to ten children. A memorial service will be held at 2:30 pm Sunday, July 9, 2017 at Brookside Chapel of Chimes. Additionally, there will be a “celebration of life” gathering for all the family and friends prior to the memorial service. Please plan to join us from 12:30 to 2:30 in the chapel.
