Shirley W. Stanton passed away on September 10, 2015. Shirley was born in Shreveport LA to Esther and Paul Wayman. She graduated from Lawrence College with a degree in Music. She was married to Howard B. Stanton in 1948 in Oak Park, IL. She taught piano and voice, was a Gold Life Master bridge player, and a world traveler.
Shirley is survived by her three children, Linda Baulch, Karen Shutts and her husband Ken, and Jim Stanton and his wife Genette; 7 grandchildren, Bill Nelson and wife Mary, Denise Wilson and husband Kent, Amanda Hammack and husband Jesse, Michelle Shutts, Kimberly Shutts, David Stanton and wife Nicole, and Laura Wickerd and husband Wayne and 6 great-grandchildren, Cole Nelson, Keira Nelson, Kaleb Wilson, Tanner Wilson, Jesse Hammack and Connor Stanton.
