Sidney A. Anderson, Jr., born on August 21, 1931, went to be with his Lord & Savior on January 31, 2011. He leaves to cherish his memories: loving wife, Martha Anderson; children: Mark Anderson & wife Sandy, Terry Love & husband Larry, Kathy Anderson; grandchildren: Kim Stallworth, Amanda Gonzalez, Nikki Love, Caleb Anderson, Jacob Anderson, Joshua Anderson; great granddaughters: Jasmine Stallworth, Aeris Stallworth, Jada Stallworth, Addyson Gonzalez and Sydnee Gonzalez. Sidney served his country in the Korean war and also retired from the Houston Police Department after 26 years of faithful service. The family will receive friends from 5-8PM on Wednesday, February 2, 2011. Funeral Service will be held at 3PM on Thursday, February 3, 2011. Both services will be held at Brookside Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Brookside Memorial Park.
