

Sid grew up in Houston, Texas and graduated from Jefferson Davis High School. He married Marjorie Campbell Bielec on February 4, 1961 and was happily married for 59 years until her passing in 2019. Sid loved coaching baseball at Heights Little League in Houston, Texas and attending All Saints Catholic Church in the Houston Heights area and St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Brenham, Tx. Sid worked for Schlumberger and Texas Instruments before opening a machine shop with his late wife.
Sid was preceded in death by his wife, Marjorie Bielec; his parents, Frank and Ruthie Bielec; his sister and brother-in-law, Ann and Lee Fojtik; Brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Larry and Patricia Moerbe; and son-in-law, Leeland Johnson.
Sid is survived by his daughter, Dianna Johnson of Welcome, Texas; son and daughter-in-law, Randy and Cindy Bielec of Welcome, Tx; grandchildren, Retired, US Air Force Master Sgt Phillip M Cuccerre Jr and wife, Jessica Gruner Cuccerre of Bellville, Tx/Ohmbach Germany; Anthony Cuccerre of Bellville, Texas; and Jenna Sealing and husband, Paul Sealing, of Cypress, Texas; great grandchildren, Lucas and David Cuccerre of Bellville, Tx/Ohmbach Germany; Julianna Cuccerre of Bellville, Texas and Baby Sealing due in September of Cypress, Tx. Also, survived by Mazy Grace Johnson of Welcome, Tx that he affectionately called “Puppy Dog”.

A graveside service will be at 12:00 pm on Saturday, June 13, 2026 at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery, 6900 Lawndale Street, Houston, Texas 77023.
