Silvia Lorena Machado-Calderon

Silvia Lorena Machado, age 37 passed away on December 28,2023. Silvia was born in Houston, Tx and was very proud to say that she was from Greenspoint. She is survived by her three beautiful daughters, Cassandra, Carissa and Samantha whom she loved more than anything in this world. Her love for her daughters reached no limit and she truly loved each one unconditionally. Alongside her daughters she is survived by her mother and father Mirna and Oscar Machado, her two brothers along with her 5 nephews and 1 niece.

She graduated Medical Assistant school and later found a passion in child care, she had an energy that kids loved and everyone could trust. Since the very beginning the odds were against her but she triumphed over any obstacle that came in her path. Though she struggled with the loss of her oldest brother, she made sure to cherish William and her little brother Sterling.

Silvia was a safe place for many, she was a true friend that you can confide in no matter the situation and truly a beautiful spirit that anyone would feel comfortable around. She found joy in cooking and caring for others, everything she did was purely out of love and she never expected anything in return. Alongside her daughters, Silvia always kept GOD first and her faith never perished, her legacy and testimony will forever be remembered.

Her tough persona leaves behind an army of GOD fearing soldiers, whom will make sure that her daughters will always triumph and remain strong in faith. SIlvia's loud, outspoken and funny personality, along with her great taste in music will forever remain in everyone's heart.

Though the void is great, and the loss is immense, we know that she is finally at peace.

A visitation for Silvia will be held Sunday, January 7, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 10:00 PM at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas 77039.
