Sofia L. Castillo was born September 30, 1941 in Ciudad Valles, San Luis Potosí, Mexico. She went to be with God on August 5, 2016 at the age of 74. She is survived by her loving husband, Gregorio Castillo, of 43 years. She is also survived by her two daughters, Maria Leonor Martinez and Maria Alejandra Lara, and her son, Jose Arturo Castillo. She was a grandmother of six grandchildren who she loved immensely and her son-n-laws, Marcos Martinez and Andres Lara Jr., who she respectfully loved like her own sons. Also survived by her are her siblings, Arturo Lopez, Rogelio Lopez, Elvira Lopez and Engracia Martinez Lopez
