I still miss you every day!!!! I wish that you were still here! Years have passed, but the pain of loosing your best friend still remains.



You were always the hot to my cold, the left to my right, the high to my low.  You were my best friend, my partner in mayhem, my teacher, my soul mate. and my muse. You showed me how to believe, taught me how to trust, and gave me so much more than I could ever return in kind. The world was a better place with you in it. You remain in my thoughts and prayers every waking moment. You will always be a part of me.

The Lamb I Never Gave Her

The lamb I never gave her
the one I couldn't find
was made of delicate porcelain
hand painted, so sublime

The lamb had many fractures
perhaps she once had fallen
then pulled herself back together
pretending she was solid

The cracks seemed hard to heal
the glue had lost its bond
yet beauty rippled 'neath the cracks
like sunlight on a pond 

Each crack had its own story
each shone a different hue
each fracture seemed so fundamental
to the essence of the ewe

This lamb required gentleness 
if to be held in hand
Must try not to touch a single crack 
the pain she can't withstand 

But if you hold her gently
and touch only parts unbroken
Her luminescence radiates
known thoughts remain unspoken 

The little lamb sat all alone
watching time slowly pass
unable to participate
just staring through the glass

Of the window to her destiny
the day when God came by
and took my favorite fractured lamb
with Him into the sky

Stacey! I am so sorry I lost touch with you!! I wish I would have known! Life is precious. We had some great times together! Certain things we did together will always bring a smile to my face!!! :) I will see you on the other side my friend where we will laugh and talk about the good times!! <3

You will be missed greatly my good friend, may you now rest in peace as God has freed you from your pain and suffering.
