Stephanie Marie Reyes

Stephanie was born in Houston, Texas on February 2, 1972, to parents José Roberto Gonzales and Alicia Morales. She graduated from M.B. Smiley High School and received a Certificate of Medical Billing and Coding from Lone Star College. She met Juan Carlos Reyes while at the park, and they were married on August 8, 2015. Stephanie had a career in medical billing and coding at Numotion for six years.

She had a passion for working, traveling, spoiling her grandchildren, and singing and dancing to her favorite music. Stephanie was a loving, silly, strong-willed woman who was never afraid to speak her mind and express herself. She continues to be loved by so many people.

Stephanie is preceded in death by her father, José Roberto Gonzales; grandfather, Benito Morales; and Josefa “Chepa” Morales.

She is survived by her loving husband, Juan Carlos Reyes; sons, Luis Vasquez and Miguel Vasquez Jr.; daughters, Olivia Vasquez and Jazmine Marie Vasquez; grandchildren, Eliana Celeste Vasquez, Aaliyah Marie Vasquez, Luna Naömi Vasquez, Leo Miguel Vasquez, and Reymundo Quintero Teran; sisters, Alice Gonzales and Matilde Rene Gonzales; brother, José Roberto Gonzales Jr.; and mother, Alicia Morales.

A visitation for Stephanie will be held Tuesday, March 25, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas 77039, with a rosary at 7:00 PM. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, March 26, 2025, at 10:00 AM, at the same location, with a committal service to follow at 11:00 AM at Brookside Memorial Park, at the same address.

A special thanks to anyone who Stephanie considered a friend. On behalf of our family, we extend our deepest gratitude for your heartfelt support and kindness during this difficult time. Stephanie loved y’all like family, and she truly enjoyed all the fun memories that were created together. Thank you again for your love and support. We are forever grateful.
