Stephen Jerry Miller

Steve spent his precollege years in Corpus Christi attending Menger Elementary School, Hamlin Junior High School and Ray High School where he was a member of their state championship football teams.

Steve went on to graduate from Southern Methodist University in Dallas where he also played football. He was a member of the Alpha Tau Omega fraternity.

Steve served in the US Coastal Forces and trained with the US Marines at Camp Pendleton, California.

In the 1960’s and 1970’s, Steve was part of the “infamous” or “famous” Chateau Dijon community. He went on to work in sales and later to branch and regional manager for Big Three Industries. He went on to the position of regional manager for Liquid Air Corporation in Southern California before returning to Houston to form his own company, Big Two Industrial Gas & Equipment Company.

Steve loved golf, tennis and snow skiing.

Steve is survived by his brother, Lance Smith Miller and sister-in-law Vesna Jolic Miller.
