Stephen Dwaine Moreau

Stephen Dwaine Moreau, 62, of Cleveland, Texas went home to his final resting place on March 2, 2014 and joined those who preceded him in death: parents, J.C. & Juanita Moreau; grandson, Michael Vossler; great grandson, Jordan O’Neal; son-in-law, Alan Vossler; brother-in-law, Charles Barclay. Stephen was born July 29, 1951 in Galveston, Texas. He served his country in the Army as Special Forces, and a Green Beret. His passion in life was spending time outdoors with his best friend, and loving wife of 18 years, Dianne. They spent most of their days together fishing, camping, gardening, and canning fresh vegetables from their very own garden. Steve and Dianne enjoyed making fresh plum jelly together and this was very rewarding to him, as he enjoyed sharing with others. Steve's true joy in his life was spending time with his children and grandchildren. He had a free spirit and lived it through his journeys on his motorcycle. He was a caring husband, dad, grandpa, brother and son. He will be missed by many. His memory will forever be cherished by his wife of 18 years, Dianne Moreau; children: Edna Vossler, Frances Alexander & husband Chris, Melissa McPeters & husband Shawn, Bud Russell & wife Debbie; grandchildren: Ceole Rossi (Jonny), Travis, Giddeon, Autumn,Shane, Jayda, Jonathan, Jordan & Alexis; great grandchildren: Zoe, Zane, Zander & Raven; sisters & brothers: Cindy Barclay, Donna Petty, Ronnie Moreau (Pam), Alan Moreau (Kay), Mack Moreau (Patty). We love you, see you soon.

Visitation will be from 12:30PM until the start of the Funeral Service at 2PM on Thursday, March 6th at Brookside.
