Steve was born in Quy Nhon, Vietnam, and was a proud veteran of the Vietnamese Navy. He immigrated to the United States in the mid-1970s, where he met and married Nhi Nguyen in Houston, Texas. Steve worked as a draftsman in the oil and gas industry for over 20 years. He enjoyed spending time outdoors, watching sports and cherished moments with family and friends. He was also a longtime Denver Broncos fan.
Steve is survived by his loving wife, Nhi Nguyen; his daughter, Lan Gomez; his son-in-law, Ignacio (Nash) Gomez; and his granddaughters, Cataleya and Calla Gomez.
