

Steven moved to Houston at age 19 and began working as a rod man for Cotton Surveying. He progressed to field project representative for Jones and Carter Inc., from which he retired after 32 years of service. In his free time, Steven enjoyed fishing and traveling, as well as serving as a high school football official for 15 years.
Steven is preceded in death by his parents, Oland and Lorine Brandt; brothers, Craig and Charles; and sister, Marsha. He is survived by his wife of 18 years, Terry; his sisters, Carol Warren of Victoria, and Karen Parker of Sugar Land; two nephews, Jason Warren his wife Erica and their daughter Blair of Fulsher, and Adam Warren his wife Cathy and their son Carter of Victoria; and his nieces, Melissa Parker her husband Byron and their son Caleb of Katy, and Avery Read her husband Justin and their daughter Ashton of Robinson.
The memorial service is to be conducted at two o’clock in the afternoon on Saturday, the 27th of July, in the Jasek Chapel of Geo. H. Lewis & Sons, 1010 Bering Drive in Houston, where Pastor Charles Kallomey, a long time friend and co-worker, is to officiate. Immediately following, all are invited to greet the family during a reception in the adjacent grand foyer.
