Sue B. Chambers

Sue Chambers was born into this world September 21, 1945 in Houston, Texas and passed into the arms of Jesus December 22, 2018 in Sugarland. She was the daughter of Marjorie (Holton) Ballew and James Broaddus Sr, and a lifelong resident of Texas, mainly the Houston area.

Sue loved many things in life… her husband, Guy Wade, her family, cooking great food, sailing in open waters, loving on her dogs and especially following her Lord, Jesus Christ.

Ever the caregiver Sue achieved the goal of receiving her BSN degree in nursing from Houston Baptist University and served as an LVN and RN at Memorial Herman Southwest Hospital for many years.

She is preceded in death by her sisters, Cindy Broaddus and Stella Kahre, her father, James Broaddus, Sr., her husband, Guy Wade and step-daughter, Tamara Wade.

She is survived by her mother, Marjorie Ballew, daughter Stacey Chambers, son Carroll M. “Morty” Chambers Jr, his wife Jackie, and children Carter and Jordyn; Guy & Suzie Wade and children, Liz and Dalton Stringer, Nicole Wade and Dusty Wade; Trent & Theresa Wade and children, Koryn and Chris Turner and Kristian Wade; Brother, James Broaddus Jr and sister, Gina & David Garison and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
