Susan Shade Olajumoke Ehinmoro was born in Okoro-Gbede, Kogi State on December 29, 1960. After birth, Susan was raised by her step-mother, Mrs. Kajotoni Ogunmusemi. Susan’s step-mother raised her at Okoro-Gbede until she was about 5 years old at which time she was sent to live with her step sister in the city of Odelemo. Susan lived with her step sister until she completed her primary school education in 1972. Susan returned to Okoro-Gbede in 1972 to live with her family. Education Susan attended Odelemo Primary school from 1966 to 1972 when she returned to Okoro-Gbede. On returning to Okoro-Gbede, Susan had forgotten the local language and had to repeat primary 5-7 to enable her to learn the local language again. Because of this, Susan attended Okoro-Gbede Primary school from 1972 to 1974. Susan was admitted to St. Monica Girls Secondary school at Kabba from 1974 to 1978 when she completed her secondary school education. Susan proceeded to Ofa Teachers college in 1979 to obtain her qualification in 1981. After moving to Canada in 1999, Susan furthered her education by attending The Advanced School of Esthetician in Calgary, Canada from 2001 to 2002. Her Life Susan got married to her husband on her birthday, December 29, 1984 at Okoro-Gbede and went on to have four lovely children (David, Clement, Jane and Debbie). Susan, her husband and four children moved to London, China, and Canada and finally settled in Houston, Texas USA where they lived until her passing on August 22, 2017. Susan successfully raised all her children to a high level of moral and educational standard with her last daughter graduation from college on August 5, 2017. Susan was an active and strong member of Celestial Church of Christ and was matron for several churches in Nigeria and in the USA. Susan was a great wife and mother to her family, a kind, generous and affection person to her friends and impacted a great deal of people during her short but active life. We thank God for her life and will miss her a great deal because we all love her but God loves her more. Susan, rest in peace.
