Susan Prater died in the evening of Friday, August 13, 2021 in Houston, Texas. She was born on May 29, 1959 in Florence, South Caroline to the parents of Marcella H. Johnston Purvis and Joe T. Purvis, Jr. Susan grew up and attended school in Magnolia, Texas.
Susan is survived by her mother Marcella H. Purvis, her sister Charly H. Purvis Driggs, her brother Joe T. Purvis, III of Magnolia, Texas, brother J. David Meetze of Houston, Texas, and brother J. Charles Meetze of South Caroline.
For the past 15 years Susan was proudly employed by Kroger, Inc. She took great pride in taking care of all her customers. She was a lover of animals and enjoyed music of all types,
At a later date, an interment of Susan's ashes at The College Memorial Park Cemetery, 3525 West Dallas, Houston, Texas.
