Suzanne Fields Robertson, loving wife, mother, and friend passed away December 27, 2025 in Houston, Texas. Suzanne was born in Owensville, Indiana on July 11, 1931 to Isabel Lee Bolin and Robert A. Kuykendall. She was later lovingly adopted by Norris V. Fields who she regarded as her Dad.
Suzanne led a remarkable life full of interesting opportunities that took her all over the world. A "St. Louis Girl", she was teaching school in downtown St. Louis when a neighbor suggested she join the Red Cross Supplemental Recreational Activities Overseas (SRAO). She took a leap of faith and was deployed to Korea as a “Donut Dolly” serving with our troops stationed there in the Korean War. Upon her return to the US, she went to Fort Knox, Kentucky to teach school. There Suzanne met and married a handsome young Army officer, Bruce H. Robertson. They were blessed with three daughters. Suzanne and Bruce moved 28 times with the Army being stationed overseas and nationally. When Bruce retired to Austin, Texas, they started a new chapter in their lives. Suzanne became a realtor/broker, she loved real estate, making a good deal, and, most of all, meeting people. She had her own brokerage, Suzanne Robertson Realtors. As a realtor, she bought and sold many properties pursuing her real estate passion well into her 90’s.
Suzanne loved to travel the world and was always ready to go somewhere new with people she loved! She was passionate about genealogy and did research on her own family as well as any person she might know. Mom never met a stranger; she always made a friend.
Suzanne was preceded in death by her husband, Bruce. She is survived by her daughters Lynn, Jill, and Laura; 7 grandchildren Lindsey, Sam, Suzanne, Alison, Jack, Will and Claire and two great-grandchildren Louise and Mollie. She will be missed every day for her love and generosity.
