Sybol Marie Keasling, Age 83 of Barnum Texas, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on the eighteenth day of February Two Thousand and Twenty Two. Sybol was born in Mont Belvieu, Texas on September 26, 1938. She married the love of her life on December 24, 1955, and faithfully awaited their heavenly reunion. Sybol worked as administrative assistant and co-owner of Supreme Painting Company, a joint venture with her husband. She was a member of Corrigan Assembly of God as well as the Melrose Chapter of the Eastern Stars, lodge #920. Sybol found her greatest joy in serving her Lord and others. She was an intercessor of prayer, and often referred to by her family as, “Our Prayer Warrior ''.
Sybol is preceded in death by her husband George Kinneth Keasling, Parents Charles Amos Finkleman and Genevieve Virginia Hymer; Siblings Amy Tilotta, Shirley Gibson and Roland Finkleman. Sybol is survived by sister Zenda O’Neal and husband Leon; daughter and son-in-law Sherrie and David Jamail, daughter and son-in-law Debbie and Roy Laney, and daughter and son-in-law Linda and Carry Lucas; Grand Children Bridgette and Jake Thompson, Eric and Shannon Laney, Ryan Laney, Kimberly and Michael Vohs, Brently and Bri Lucas, and Kyle and Katelyn Laney; and Great-GrandChildren Hailey, Camden, Zeb, Gus, Skylar, Carmen, Landon, Zoey, Carter, Jase, Levi, Laramie, Magnolia, Brody, Layson, Cali, Zimri, Laikyn, and soon to arrive baby Serenity.

Sybol’s greatest desire was to see her family saved and putting God first in their lives.

A visitation for Sybol will be held Thursday, February 24, 2022 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039. A burial will occur Friday, February 25, 2022 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Pine Grove Cemetery, 246 Pine Grove Church Rd., Corrigan, TX 75939.
