Sylvia Ann Ayala

After twenty years with the State of Texas and twelve years with City of Corpus Christi, she retired in 2018.

She loved to cook for her family, prayed the Rosary every night, had a vivacious personality and always made people around her laugh. She never met a person she couldn’t talk to.

She is the loving and devoted mother of Marisa Ann Puerta-Jose L Puerta (spouse), Jason Leal, and Raul Leal. She treasured her children and grandchildren. She embraced every moment she had with them. “Momo” will always be adored by Ethan Lira, Elida Leal, Jason Leal, Estella Leal, and Jase Puerta.

Our Father, who art in heaven,

Hallowed be thy Name.

Thy kingdom come.

Thy will be done,

On earth as it is in heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread.

And forgive us our trespasses,

As we forgive those Who trespass against us.

And lead us not into temptation,

But deliver us from evil.
