Sylvia Rosas Barajas, 62, passed away on Sunday, March 16, 2015. Sylvia was born in Goliad, Texas on November 19, 1952 to Epifania Galvan Rosas and Richard Sanchez Rosas. She met her husband of 41 years, Rudolph Cazzetti Barajas, Jr, in 1969, and the two were married in San Antonio, Texas in 1973. Sylvia worked for Alief ISD for 27 years, with the majority of that time spent as the Asst. Registrar at Alief Hastings High School. She enjoyed spending time with her family and 11 grandchildren. She is survived by her husband, Rudy; their children, Roxanne, Jaclyn, and Jonathan and their grandchildren, Lee, Mia, Christian, Belle, Sophia, Max, Emily, Zac, Anthony, Lexi and Ian. Her beauty and guidance will be incredibly missed. A memorial service will be held at Forest Park Westheimer Funeral Home, 12800 Westheimer Rd., Houston, Texas 77077 on Sunday, March 22 at 11 a.m.
