Sylvia Mabel Brown

Sylvia M. Brown was born on January 21, 1926, to Erwin and Lillie Grimm and grew up in Seguin, TX. She married Everett Brown in 1950 and lived many years in Bellaire, moving in her later years to Pearland. She passed away on August 26, 2018, at the young age of 92.

Sylvia is preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 52 years, Everett H. Brown, and her son-in-law, Howard Slade. She is survived by her daughters, Nancy Slade and Patty Winderweedle; grandchildren, Leslie Slade and her husband Matthew Tabor, Erin Krummenacher and husband Andrew Krummenacher, Kelly Evans and husband Ryan Evans, and Will Winderweedle; and numerous nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind many friends near and far that were dear to her over the years.

Please join the family in a celebration of life on Saturday, September 1st, 2018, at 11:00 AM at Bellaire United Methodist Church, at 4417 Bellaire Blvd., Bellaire, TX. A Visitation will also be held on Friday, August 31st, 2018, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Forest Park Westheimer Funeral Home for those who wish to pay their respects in person. There will be a short graveside service at 3:00 PM on the cemetery grounds.

In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Bellaire United Methodist

Church Memorial Kitchen Fund or to a charity of your choice in her name.
