

Tad Tadeusz Rozycki, MD, 82, son of Blandyna and Stanislaw, passed away at home in Houston, Texas on March 31, 2010. He is survived by his wife of 24 years Marysia and sons Tahl, Ari and Dan. Tad practiced pediatrics in Providence, Rhode Island before moving to Houston, where he continued his practice for many years.
Tad was born in Warsaw, Poland. He finished high school in Paris, France. Then graduated from the University of Warsaw Law School. Afterwards, he attended and graduated from Hadassah Medical School in Jerusalem, Israel. Tad immigrated to the United States in 1963. He was a devoted husband and loving father. Tad was always thinking of others before himself. He always said, “Be good to everyone and don’t harm any living creature.” He loved photography, polka music and dancing, playing the harmonica and singing. He loved humor and comedy and he loved telling jokes. He was an avid cyclist and completed the first MS 150 bike ride. Tad was a poet and published a book of poetry, Searching for You, in 1995. He was fluent in Polish, French, Hebrew and English.
Services will be held at Forest Park Westheimer Funeral Home, 12800 Westheimer Road, Houston, TX 77077 at 2:00pm on Monday, April 5, 2010. A mass will be held at Our Lady of Czestochowa Polish Catholic Church at 1731 Blalock Road, Houston, TX 77080 at 7:00pm on Tuesday, April 6, 2010. His absence has left a giant hole in our lives. He will be forever in our hearts. Donations may be made to Our Lady of Czestochowa Church.
