Tamara is survived by her daughter Brittney Waits; and her daughter Carmynn Waits; her mother Myrtle Lede and her step father Patrick Lede; her sister Lashona Hamlett, her sister Idycias Thomas and her brother Terry Smith Jr.; her bestfriend: 25 + years Kc Conner.

Tamara was preceded in death by her daughter Aniyah Waits; her father Terry Smith; her grandmother Myrtle Lee Hillman, and her grandfather Sam Eddie Polk.

A funeral service will occur Friday, September 5, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, 5100 North Fwy, Houston, TX 77022. A burial will occur Friday, September 5, 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at Brookside Funeral Home & Memorial Park, 13747 Eastex Fwy, Houston, TX 77039.
