

Tammi Lanell Richards, born June 19, 1972 passed away in Houston, Texas on April 16, 2014 at the age of 41 after a 5 year battle with Breast Cancer. She was diagnosed with Breast cancer on February 16, 2009. Tammi fought a courageous battle and never gave up. No matter what challenge she faced. Tammi always had a smile on her face and a positive attitude.
She graduated from Spring Woods High School in 1990, where she was a member of the marching band in which she played the clarinet; she also played softball on a local team in Spring Branch. Tammi was employed at Mac Haik Ford for the past 20 years where she worked as the service dispatcher. She was a very loyal employee and continued to work throughout her illness. Tammi loved to decorate. She would paint a room numerous times until the color was just right. She also loved to travel; her favorite trip was in 2010 to New York City, with her friend Susan. She loved to watch the Houston Texans and Texas Aggies play football, when they were and were not performing well. Tammi was the favorite aunt and she loved to watch her nieces and nephews in whatever sport or activity they were involved in.
Tammi is preceded in death by her father Willie John Franta. She is survived by her Mother Dorothy Schobel Franta, Brother Kenneth and wife Jennifer Franta, Sister Sheri and husband David Eubanks. Nephews, Brian and wife Erika Eubanks, Bradley Eubanks, Logan and Landen Baird. Nieces, Mallory and Taylor Franta. Great Nephew Ryan Eubanks. Numerous Aunts, Uncles and Cousins. Special friends, Jason Love and Susan Thornhill, and her beloved dog Rusty.
