Kenneth and I are sending our heartfelt sympathy from Colorado. Our prayers go out to our niece, nephews and “greats” on the loss of their mom and Mimi, and to all of Tammy’s family. She had to leave this world far too soon and she will be missed dearly.
I will always remember the last time we saw Tammy at the Martin Christmas in 2019. She had made me a breast cancer survivor ornament. The vinyl and crystal details she put into it are so beautiful and it really touched my heart that she was so thoughtful to make it for me. I will treasure it always and think of her each year as I hang it on the tree.
May God give Tammy rest and the restoration He promises in His Word: “While we still live in our bodies here on earth, we cry inside ourselves. Many difficult things happen to us. We do not really want to take off our old body. But we do want to put on our new body, like new clothes. When that happens, we will no longer need our old body which had to die. Instead we will have a new body that will live for ever.”

Mom, I wanted to share this particular memory because it just shows you were never afraid to get out of your comfort zone. Ashley, Rachel and I had this huge obsession with My Chemical Romance back in the day. One year they were playing at Buzzfest and we managed to score four tickets from a scalper. We were 16 and 17 so you wouldn’t let us go alone, but we didn’t want to be embarrassed so we gave you one of my paramore shirts to wear and you came with us. We had a blast and got to snap this photo with Wes from Puddle of Mudd, which was a big deal back then. There was never anything you weren’t willing to do for me and I’ll cherish those memories forever. I love you !
