

Both parents preceded him in death. He graduated from Amador High in Pleasanton, California where he shined as an All American athlete receiving a full athletic scholarship to Santa Clara University; where he earned a Bachelor’s in Psychology and a Masters in Education.
Terry accepted Christ at an early age. As a child he was an altar boy at his childhood parish in Aliso Village in Los Angeles California. He was a devoted Catholic and had a unique relationship with God.
Before relocating to Houston he welcomed three daughters from prior marriages. Tamura Nicole, Therese Chante' and Mishua Saundrea Karmel.
Upon relocating to Houston, Texas; he met his best friend Christine "Fuzzy" Greer. They later married in 1984 and through this union he embraced Katrina La Shaune and Jeremy JarMaine as his own.
As a natural born entrepreneur Terry had a passion for helping children. In his early years, he felt education was the key to life and as such he pursued a career as an educator teaching elementary and junior high students. After years of teaching he decided to pursue his entrepreneurial calling and progressed into event promotions where he organized professional fights and concerts and real estate development. In the end, it was his final passion to create non-profit organization called army of angels to support at-risk teens and young adults.
Although he was charismatic by nature, he was known for his a witty mind and for being a smarty pants. With his smile, he lit up a room and his dimples were captivating. Terry’s magnetic personality drew people to him. He could hold a conversation with almost anyone from all walks of life.
Terry leaves to cherish his memory his wife Christine Lockhart, his sisters Terencia Chartain and Tandrea Lockhart. His children and their spouses Tamura and Eric Veasy, Therese Banks, Katrina and Sashah Davis, Mishua and Terrence Thomas, Jeremy and Shaunte Greer. A host of grandchildren, a great grandchild, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, March 7, 2015 at 3:00pm in the Brookside Chapel of Chimes. Father Rafael Villarreal will officiate.
