Teresa B. Guerrero, departed from this life on Monday, March 16, 2020. She was born in Brownsville, TX 91 years ago and has been a long time resident of Houston, Texas. Her family originated from Spain. She is survived by her daughter Ana G. Land, Son-in Law John Land, 2 sons, Gary B. Guerrero and Gilbert B. Guerrero. Predeceased is her loving husband, Sr. Genaro S. Guerrero, whom she married in 1946, a Navy Veteran. 2 sons, Genaro B. Guerrero Jr, and Hector B Guerrero. She has 10 grandchildren, 14 great, and 8 great-great grandchildren.

Teresa had a love for cilantro, hot peppers, hamburgers, roses and the color red. Her Spanish rice and potato salad was always a family favorite. She has left her loved ones with beautiful memories of backyard barbeques, coming together as a family, full of love and laughter throughout the years.

Enjoying life regardless of circumstances, she proved to be a strong woman her family looked up to. Having faith in God, she provided guidance and unconditional love. Her spirit was charismatic and she had a beautiful soul. Her fun energetic personality could light up any room, like the sparkles that flowed from her green eyes. She was funny, had a great sense of humor, loved jokes and could make anyone laugh. Teresa was known to her family and friends as the "Life of the Party." Her favorite past times were music, dancing and celebrations.

Teresa was an amazing individual. She is unforgettable, and touched so many lives with her humor. She is the light of her family, and she will forever shine within our hearts. Dance to the Heavenly music with Grandpa, We love you Nana!

Teresa B. Guerrero will be buried along side with her husband at Veterans Memorial, in Houston, Texas Wednesday the 25th of 2020, at 2:00 pm.

Her celebration of life for family and friends has been postponed for a later date.

Awe sweet NaNa, I’ll always remember her coming to visit my grandmother Ofelia in Lufkin. Such sweet sisters, always up to something together. So glad she’s reunited with Tio and my grandparents. Wonder what trouble they will get into up there.
