Bellaire, TX - Teresa T. Lopez, a resident of 43 years died Tuesday, the 12th of September in Houston, TX. (Memorial Hermann - Medical Center)
Born in 1944 in Wadley, Mexico (San Luis Potosi), to Manuel and Francisca Teniente, she immigrated to the United States in 1963. She was the third oldest of nine children. After immigrating to the United States, in 1965 she married her husband of 47 years. She had five sons and one daughter. She enjoyed being with family. She enjoyed taking care of her children and grandchildren. She was a faithful Catholic and longtime parishioner of Holy Ghost Catholic Church, where she was a Guadalupana. She was a Eucharistic Minister in the Hispanic Ministry.
Those preceding her included her parents, two brothers and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. She is survived by her husband, six children, a son-in-law, a daughter-in-law, four grandchildren, sisters, brothers, aunts, uncles and cousins and many beloved relatives and friends.
She will be viewed at Advantage Funeral Home. She will have a mass at Holy Ghost Catholic Church. She will be buried at Forest Park Cemetery in west Houston.
