Terry Vaughn Courtney

Terry graduated from Splendora ISD. He met Sandra in high school, and they were married on August 13, 1983. Terry owned TSC Floors for 28 years, a steady and enduring reflection of his work ethic and commitment. Throughout his life, his devotion was clear in what he valued most his family and his faith, in the simple, meaningful joys he pursued, including the outdoors, vintage cars, vacations, darts, and fishing.

Terry was preceded in death by his father, JT Courtney; grandparents, Joseph Eugene Cochran, Myrtle Magdalene Cochran, John Courtney, and Florence Courtney.

Terry is survived by his loving wife, Sandra Courtney; son, Casey Courtney (Tammi Courtney); daughter, Katelyn Munsinger (Corey Munsinger); grandchildren, Railey Courtney, Rhody Courtney, Kole Munsinger, Kasyn Courtney, Kollyns Munsinger, and Codi Courtney; great grandson, Briggs Fain; mother, Doris Courtney; brother, Chris Courtney (Tammy Courtney); along with many special nieces, nephews, and friends.

Throughout his life, his devotion was clear in what he valued most, his family and his faith. Other meaningful joys he pursued included the outdoors, vintage cars, vacations, darts, and fishing.

Serving as pallbearers are Wesley Barron, Scott Wiley, Kenny O'Brien, Wade Hollis Sr., Brian Scott, and Dirk Webb.

Honorary pallbearers will be Rhody Courtney and Kole Munsinger.

Visitation will be held at Key Life Fellowship, 22774 Antique Ln, New Caney, Texas 77357, US, on August 24, 2026, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm, followed by the Funeral at the same location from 12:00 pm to 1:15 pm. Graveside service will take place at Brookside Memorial Park, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas 77039, US, on August 24, 2026, from 2:30 pm to 3:00 pm.
