Terry Lee Rodgers, age 66, of Houston, Texas, passed away on January 8, 2026, in Houston. He was born in Wichita Falls, Texas, and made Houston his home, where he built a life rooted in faith, family, and service.
Terry dedicated 20 years of his professional life as a Lead Designer at Genesis US, where he was known as a trusted colleague—steady, dependable, and deeply respected. His work ethic reflected the values he carried throughout his life: integrity, commitment, and care for others.
A devoted man of faith, Terry was an active and committed member of Advent Lutheran Church, where he faithfully served on the church council and found great joy in his church family. His faith was not only something he practiced, but something he lived—quietly, consistently, and generously.
Terry was a lifetime member of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo where he volunteered on the Horspitality Committee. He also served as chief cook for the Me-N-My GANG cookers for 15 years. Terry also enjoyed camping, hiking, golfing, cooking, and especially spending time with family and beloved dog Maggie. One of his greatest joys was his involvement in Boy Scouting with Troop 604, where he made a lasting impact on countless young lives through mentorship, patience, and encouragement.
Above all else, Terry was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, and uncle. He was the core, anchor, pillar, and foundation of his family—a steady presence whose love was constant and reassuring. He was a friend you could count on, a colleague you could trust, and a man whose quiet strength made others feel safe and supported.
Terry was preceded in death by his parents, Tempie and Marvin Rodgers.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 44 years, Pamela Rodgers; daughter Courtney and her husband Randy, and their children Everly and Levi; son Steven and his wife Karla, and their children Charlotte and Savannah. He is also survived by his brothers Marty Rodgers and wife Laura, Michael Rodgers and wife Michelle, and Tony Rodgers and wife Vickie. Terry leaves behind close brother-in-law Charles Turner, close sisters-in-law Nita Arriola and husband Zack, Michelle Turner Buchanan, & Belinda Abbate and husband Charles, along with a large extended family of nieces, nephews, and many others who were touched by his life.
Terry will be remembered for his caring heart, his unwavering devotion to those he loved, and the strong, faithful presence he brought into every room. His legacy lives on through his family, his faith, and the countless lives he shaped simply by being who he was.
