

She was born in Phú Quốc, Vietnam on July 10, 1974. In 1975, at the age of one, she made her journey to the United States with her mother and her two brothers, Linh and Tom. She lived in Texas for two years, and then her mother relocated the family to California in 1977. In 1981, her younger brother, Khang, was born and she was also reunited with her older sister, Thuy, in California.
Kim Chi met her husband, Danny, in 1989 and got married in 2000. She worked as a nail technician in her sister’s salon and had her first son, Ethan, in 2001. She had her first daughter, Aubrie, in 2004 and her second daughter, Tailyn, in 2009. Kim Chi and Danny decided to move to Texas in 2008. She became a stay-at-home mom, devoting her life to her children. She enjoyed photography, arts and crafts, cooking, trips to Las Vegas with her family, taking selfies on Snapchat, and documenting every moment on Facebook. Kim Chi loved her family, nieces and nephews and she will be dearly missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her husband, Danny, and her three children, Ethan, Aubrie, and Tailyn.
Visitations for family and friends will be on Wednesday, June 24, 2020 and Thursday, June 25, 2020 from 3:00 PM - 8:00 PM at Chapel of Eternal Peace Funeral Home, 2454 S. Dairy Ashford, Houston, Texas 77077.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Christ the Redeemer Catholic Church, 11507 Huffmeister Rd., Houston, Texas 77065.
