

Theresa Ifeyinwa Oparah passed away April 9, 2015 in Houston, Texas following a four year battle with breast cancer. She was born on January 28, 1962 in Lagos, Nigeria to Aloysius Eze and Susanna Onyeama. Theresa got her primary education in Nigeria. She later migrated to London and eventually made her way to the United States in the early 90’s, where she quickly settled in Houston and called it home.
Theresa received her bachelor’s degree in social work from Texas Southern University. She began her career in social work as a case worker for Texas Parole Board. Eventually she found her dream career, caring for the elderly doing private home health. Theresa was a fun loving and friendly person. She loved music, dance, and pop-culture.
Her Parents Aloysius Eze and Susanna Onyeama, and her sister Appolonia Eze, preceded her in death.
Surviving to cherish her memories are her sisters Anthonia Uzo Aniakor, Syvia Eze, and Philo Ngozi Ezeakach; brothers Obiora Eze and Jude Chike Eze; cousins Matthew Ngwu, Justina Aniosike, Carol Aluka, and Regina Amadi; and special friend Daniel Magbo.
Theresa will be laid to rest at her family home in Enugu, Nigeria.
