Theresa Marie Torres

Theresa Marie Torres went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, October 28th at 1:23 p.m. after a long six-week battle with a bacterial infection. Theresa was born in Houston, Texas. On Sunday, July 15, 1962, at Memorial Baptist Hospital, to Mr. and Mrs. Billy Bob Mannix. Theresa was raised in Houston. After graduating from high school, she worked as a telemarketer for Sears. All her coworkers loved her because she was a real people’s person, and she worked there for several years until that department was closed. She went to work at FMA as a bill collector and was good at what she did. She loved to cook and care for her many pets. And loved to go camping and fishing, she also loved going to Church and reading her bible she is survived by her loving husband, Gilbert Torres and family, her sister, Patricia Alford and family, her niece, Kristin Cox and family, and brother Robert Mannix. Theresa is pre-deceased by her sister, Kathy Rolke, her mother Rita Philomena Sullivan Mannix, and her father Billy Bob Mannix.

A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, November 22, at 1:00 p.m. at Arise Baptist Church, 803 Curtin St., Houston, Texas 77018
