I still think about you a lot. I’m so thankful we reconnected later in life. You grew up to be just as incredible a person as you were when we were kids.

Happy Birthday Bubba, today you would have been 37!  I know you have shined upon us all here everyday on earth.   As you always said, life here is temporary and we all cherish each day with eachother.  You would be happy that mom is doing well, you sister, nieces, family...  Brianna still has all your pictures in her room, next to Taylor Swift and One Direction, so you rank high in her 17 year old mind.

I just heard about Toms passing, he was my Officer In Charge back at Miramar years ago as a second Lt. Man, i can't believe this however, god knows us best. Take care family and may god please you.

My condolences to both of you and to Tom's family.  I was a Touchstone resident, Windsor House, in aug 2011 feb 2012.  Tom was a respectable. sweet, and nice guy. I hope you guys got to share some relaxed days at home.  May God bless yall.

Jim and Ann - I just learned of Tommy's passing.  I was his case manager for about a year while he was at Touchstone.  I was not fortunate enough to know him well, but I remember being touched by what wonderful parents you both were to him and I know he felt loved and cared for.  I wish you all the best.

Mary and Chip Seymour send our sincere condolances to the entire Allosso Family.  We remember Tommy as a young Plebe at the U S Naval Academy with great fondness.  He was one terrific midshipman and, from the comments made in the current Shipmate magazine, obviously continued to be a very specal human being throughout his life.  Our prayers are with you.

I meet Tom in April of 2011. I worked with him on a daily bases. Even in his illness he was a joy. We use to fight over him. I knew this day would come, but not this soon. I miss him already. To his mom. You are what every mom should be. My heart goes out to you and your family. My God be with you.

I just received word tonight that Tommy had passed.  I am deeply saddened at his passing but I know that Tommy is truly at peace now.  I will never forget him and all the fun times we had in the neighborhood, in computer class and at football practice st SHS.  I will miss you "Tobby." To the Allosso family, you were so blessed to have and raise such a wonderful son.  My thoughts are with you in this difficult time but please know that Tommy is a joyous soul and his memory will live on through us all.

I am so happy for Tom...that he is free to enjoy his new body and mind now!  Will miss him, and have missed him, but I look forward to seeing him again.  Tom was an amazing friend and roommate, and I look back on our time together with much happiness, that I was able to get to know him. Such great memories of an amazing man. To the Allosso family:

Our family is one of many whose lives were touched by your son and brother. John Baker has always maintained he never would have made it through plebe summer without Tommy Alosso. He was a friend to John throughout their time at the Naval Academy and prayed for him when he had his first encounter with brain cancer in 2001. Tommy stayed with Jack and me in Worthington, Ohio, on his way across country from Quantico to Camp Pendleton. He arrived on our tiny little street with his big truck and trailer and beautiful motorcycle, creating quite a stir in our neighborhood, expertly backing all that equipment up our narrow, hilly driveway. He spent the night in a twin bed in Joan's room with the stuffed animals and porcelain dolls, and he was so gracious and grateful for a warm bed, hot shower and a home-cooked meal. Tommy was as fine a man as I have ever met, and we emailed for a couple of years after that visit, including when he was in Iraq. As LCDR John Baker once again fights for his life with the return of brain cancer, we hope that Tommy, surely a saint sitting at the right hand of God, will put in a good word for John.

What an uplifting funeral.  As I was walking with another ex spartan he said it makes you want to go out and serve.  What a compliment.  Everthing was wonderful and the message about asking why.  I gues if Jesus asked why we can too.  Great person. Calvin Coolidge said you'll never be rememberd by what you got but by what you give.  Tommy gave it all.  Thank goodness for memories. Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints. (Ps. 116:15).
Tommy has truly fought the good fight, he has finished the race, he has kept the faith.  As he rejoices now to be whole and well in heaven, our hearts ache with his parents and family who miss him and miss what could have been.  He was an outstanding young man who lived his life to serve God and his country.  He has once again stepped ahead of his peers, to enter Glory.  Til we meet again.

Debbie and I have know Tommy through Stratford High School and Memorial Drive United Methodist Church, but I got to know Tommy well as we worked side by side for several years during the MDUMC Summer Workcamps.  When anyone asked Tommy to do something, you got two things.  One -- You just had to ask once!  And second --You always got more than you asked for.  It was no surprise that Tommy became such an outstanding young adult.  Tommy will always be remembered as one of the young men and women in our country's history who, when his country drew a line in the sand, stepped over it, knowing full well what it meant.  We thank you for your service to our country and to our fellow man.

Someone reminded me a few years ago that God chooses carefully when we go home, and the death of one of his saints is precious. You were such a man - a man who I know pleases and glorifies God with your arrival in heaven! Thanks for your friendship, courage, and faithfulness in all you did.

Wow!  What a loss we all feel now!  What a gentleman Tom was.  He had a great smile and gave great hugs!!!!  He was a stud!  Most importantly, he loved Jesus with all his heart and that was reflected in all he did.  i always LOVED having Tom in our home with Bub and Scott, my sons. Tommy and I met in junior high. He was my neighbor and best friend. I will always remember his intellect and quick wit; his boundless warmth and compassion. Tommy was truly a man for others and will be forever in our hearts.

I first "met" Tom in 1977 at a 4th of July party.  He was a precious infant in his mother's arms.  He was just a year younger than my youngest son and I watched him grow into a handsome, intellegent, charming young man.  I was so very happy and proud of him when he got into the Naval Academy.  I krew how difficult it was as my oldest son was at the Air Force Academy.  Now I and my family are grieving over his passing.  We pray that his family will be comforted in knowing that he brough joy to those who knew him and that he will be greatly missed.

I will always remember when you came to visit me in Washington and we went to the movies to watch The Green Mile. The Saturday before you passed I was watching that and remembered how much fun it was.

I find myself at a loss for words.  Tommy I will always remember 5th Grade Spiral and HOSA Nationals in Nashville.  My thoughts and prayers are with the Allosso family.

Tommy and I grew up together in Sherwood, playing Matchbox cars and making up stories about how our lives would turn out. He was on a path that neither of us could have imagined at one point, and I didn't realize I could feel such pride in knowing someone about my own age. It made me so sad to see his life change course so dramatically. I only pray that those who loved him most will remember the Tommy I remember, a loyal friend, a warm and generous soul, so full of life and promise that he inspired others around him. My prayers are with Anne, Jim and Kathleen today, and I am so heartbroken that this world never got to see Tom live out his full potential.

Tommy, you are truly our second son,  and we have nothing but fond memories of you and Marq running around the house and the neighborhood doing things you were told not to do. You loved Mom's cooking as much as we loved you, especially "Input".  You were Marq's best friend and a joy to us, and we will never, never forget you.  Rest in the arms of the Lord for your journey has ended and you have flown home on Eagles wings.

Tommy,  I only met you once.  You were 2 or 3 years old.  I remember it was Summer and a neighbor was cutting the lawn and then stopped.  You immediately said no gas.  And then it started up again and you said got gas. I don't know why I remembered that, but I knew then you were very bright and going places.  I wish I knew you, my loss.  RIP.
