I was saddened to hear of the passing of Mr. Bartlett. I have such fond memories of growing up down the street on Cawdor Way. I don’t think there was a time when I didn’t see Mr. Bartlett smiling- such a kind, gentle, fun-loving man. Road trips to Houma were always a great adventure- sweet Mrs. Bartlett sitting next to him in the front seat while Mr. Bartlett kept us entertained with jokes and stories. I will always remember his love of faith, family, friends, and of course... golf. There’s no doubt God met Mr. Bartlett saying, “Well done my good and faithful servant.”
Sending my love and prayers from Kerrville,
Mary O’Brien Schmitt
