

Natchitoches, Louisiana. On that blessed day of life his parents named
him Thomas Brown.
When Thomas was a small child along with his mother and older
siblings they relocated from Natchitoches, Louisiana to Houston, Texas.
Thomas accepted Christ at an early age. He attended Crawford
Elementary and E.O. Smith High School. He later became a Truck Driver
for WM Dewey Trucking Company for many years.
Thomas accepted Christ at an early age. He was a caring, loving and
funny person. He enjoyed spending time with family, friends, making
jokes, playing the slot machines and watching old Western Shows. He
LOVED to drink Coca Cola Soda. He transitioned from this life on
Saturday, March 22, 2025.
Thomas is preceded in death by his wife Dessie Lee Brown, his parents
Grant and Louise Brown, his grandmother Avis Alexander, siblings,
Ricky Chism, Jurline Brown, and Johnny Brown, Jimmy Brown;
father-in-law Cordie Thomas, mother-in-law Hattie Thomas,
sisters-in-law Shirley Thomas, Diane Greene (Charles Sr), Stephanie
Thomas; and brothers-in-law Roy Lee Thomas and Nicholas Thomas.
He leaves to mourn his transition: his children Marvin Thomas
(Demetria), Denise Stevenson (Gregory), Marion Brown (Bruce),
LaMark Brown (Machella); one aunt/Godmother Norien Robinson;
siblings, James Brown, Elnora Graham, Corrine Jones, Edward Brown,
Mary Braxton (Darrell), Janice Chism, Johnny Chism Jr, Cynthia Chism,
Mavies Chism and Jennifer Clebourn (Julius), sisters-in-law Mary McKee
(Arthur), Rebema Handy (Edward), Annie Kemp and one
brother-in-law John Thomas (Karen), a host of grandchildren, nieces,
nephews, cousins and friends.
