Thomas Reilly Fluellen, Jr. passed away on Saturday October 21st, 2017 in Houston, Texas at the age of 94. Reilly was born in Houston, Texas on December 25th, 1922. He spent 4 years in the Navy during World War II. He subsequently attended the University of Houston and received a Bachelor’s Degree in Geology. He spent his career in the field of oil and gas exploration, culminating as a Geological Consultant. Reilly is survived by his wife of 69 years Rita James Fluellen, his son Mark Reilly Fluellen and wife Cyndie, his grandson Shannon Reilly Fluellen and wife Kristen, and great grandson Felix Reilly Fluellen. He is also survived by his nephew Stephen Carter, niece Sylvia Peebus, and cousin Barbara Heiser Alban. Reilly is predeceased by his mother Viola Feldhake Fluellen, his father Reilly Fluellen, Sr., his sisters Eva Fluellen Carter and Louise also known as Sister Joseph Fluellen of the Incarnate World Order. A memorial mass will take place at St. Cecilia Catholic Church on Thursday October 26th at 10:30 am.
