Thomas Lee Monk, born September 27, 1950 in Longview, TX entered into eternal rest November 2, 2009. Thomas is preceded in death by his father, Oscar Monk and mother-in-law, Dorothy N. Russ. Left to cherish his memories: loving wife, Marion Monk; children: Laure Chubb and husband Lonnie, Thomas Lee Monk, Jr., Michele Burger and husband Johnathan, LoLa Jean Robertson, Stephanie Urbina and husband Rito and Robert Sugg; mother, LoLa Pearl Monk Wood; sisters: Shirley Ann Fedd and husband Kenneth, LoLa Stevens, Gloria Jean Vick and husband Douglas; brother, Samuel R. Monk and wife Katherin; 19 grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation will be Tuesday, Nov. 3rd from 5-8PM. Funeral Services will be 3PM, Wednesday, Nov. 4th. Both services will be held at Brookside Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Brookside Memorial Park.
