
He was born October 10, 1949 to William Franklin Suddeth, Sr. and Elsie Miller Suddeth in St. Augustine, Florida. He had a happy childhood with many friends spending a lot of his time at his Uncle Eddie and Aunt Lottie Brandt's house.
He loved to ride motorcycles and from his early teenage years was seldom without one. In fact there is still a motorcycle in his garage that he was hoping to be able to ride again one day. He loved to make knives, spending many hours in his workshop.
He graduated from St. Augustine High School in May of 1969 where he played a trumpet in the band. He graduated from the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York in May,1974. He was an excellent chef.
He worked in many places, in hotels, resorts, restaurants, country clubs, Colleges and a School district in many parts of the United States: Florida, Michigan, Wyoming, California, Utah, Idaho, and Texas.
He married Dianne Widdison in Logan, Utah on September 7, 1973. They are the parents of six children and grandparents of eight grandchildren.
Tom has suffered for the last several years with several chronic illnesses.
He is survived by his wife, Dianne Suddeth, sons William of Houston, Matthew (Anna) and Tommy (Rosimar) of Katy and Paul (Brandi) of Round Rock, and daughters Hollie (Jacob) Coble and Susan Suddeth of Houston and eight grandchildren. He is also survived by his mother, Elsie Suddeth of St. Augustine, Florida, his brother Robert (Judi) of St. Augustine and his sister Debbie (Richard) Manley of Reston, Virginia and many nieces and nephews.
