Thomas Glenn Tomblin

Glenn was born to parents, Amos Glenn Tomblin and Urazue Nelson Tomblin on 11/10/1942. He graduated from South Park High School and received a BBA in Marketing from Lamar University.

He was faithfully married to Sharron, the love of his life, in 1967. She passed on 2/17/21 and they are survived by his daughter Tammy Garner and husband Jarred Garner of Cypress, TX; daughter, Tiffany Tomblin of Austin, TX; son, Devin Tomblin of Houston, TX; his granddaughter, Paige Garner and grandson, Drew Garner of Cypress, TX.

Glenn was a man of great faith for serving the Lord throughout his life as a member of Bellaire Church of Christ, Fry Road Church of Christ and Cypress-Fair Church of Christ where he led singing for many years at Fry Road.

Glenn owned the Tomblin Agency of Insurance for over 20 years. He served as a mentor and contributed to the successes of many individuals leading to their career paths.

His greatest passion was singing, teaching and spreading gospel music where he taught locally and traveled the US to spread his faith and love for Christ. He led over thousands in music with love and joy.

Glenn’s beautiful voice, heart and soul was reached by many and will be missed, but his spirit will stay in our hearts forever with love and gratitude. God rest his soul.
