

He Graduated from Saginaw High School in Saginaw Michigan, 1970 and received his BA degree from New York university, Albany NY. He retired in 2001 as an assistant vice president from the Hugh O’Brian Foundation of Los Angeles CA. He was currently employed by the Home Depot Corporation. Thurman was a generous man, who gave from his heart to those he believed were in needed of his help.
He is predeceased by his father and mother Leon B Ham and Minnie L. Ham. Three brothers , Marshall Ham, Renaldo Ham and Howard Ham. Surviving sisters, Gwendolyn Pagan, Rochester NY, Nellie Marie Ham, Redlands CA., Sarah Hicks (James Burkett), Sarasota Fl., Frances Ham ( George Johnson),
Richmond TX. Only surviving Aunt, Jean Victor, Chicago Ill. Sister in laws, Hazel Ham, Hampton,VA, Wilmer Ham-Mczee, Saginaw,Mi. many nieces, nephews and cousins, Close friend, Betty Brown, Farmington Hills, Mi. and best friends Larry Porter, Detroit Mi., Vincent Smith N.J. Thurmans family would like for you to join them at his visitation on Wednesday, at 11:30 A.M. at Memorial Oaks Funeral Home. A service of celebration will be at 12:30 P.M. in the chapel of Memorial Oaks Funeral Home with Rev. Joseph Spell officiating. Concluding services Thurman will be laid to rest at Memorial Oaks Cemetery.
