Tina M Nelson

Tina Michelle Nelson, a devoted wife, mother, daughter and sister, gained her heavenly wings on Wednesday March 13, 2024. Although we mourn the passing of our sweet angel, we thank God for her amazing life and know that she now abides with our Heavenly Father.

Tina was born July 31, 1969 in Galveston, TX to parents Felton Jackson and Mildred Jackson Thomas. She spent her childhood and school years in Port Arthur, TX until adulthood when she relocated to Houston, TX where she spent her life devoted to her family and working in the medical profession as a nurse. Always helping and caring for others, Tina was a happy, loving, high spirited person who loved life and family......always going out of her way to help whoever came across her path.

Our sweet angel is survived by her husband, Joseph Nelson Jr., Her daughters, Cla’Lynn Gasper, D’Aisa

Gasper, & Merquisha Fontenette, and son Joseph Nelson III. (Trey). Her mother, Mildred Thomas and two sisters, Lisa Jackson & Wendy Wilson. Two grandchildren, Jaid¬en & Niko Johnson. Nieces, Sierra Provost (Christopher), & Brittany Jackson. Nephews, Dorian Jackson (Taren), Anthony Jackson Jr. (Dana) and John Wilson Jr. along with a host of cousins, great nieces/nephews and friends. Tina is preceded in death by her dad Felton Jackson and two brothers, Anthony Jackson Sr. and Eric Jackson.

A balloon release will be organized at a given time by family in honor of celebrating Tina’s memory.
