Toby Nelson Myers

He was the son of Charles H. Myers and Donna S. Myers. Toby was born October 2, 1969, in Houston, Texas. He graduated from St. Vincent de Paul grade school and Strake Jesuit College Preparatory School. He went on to the University of Arkansas. He was a competitive swimmer from age 7 through college. He loved cooking and managing restaurants and bars throughout Houston and Las Vegas, along with other cities across the country. Toby was an avid water skier and snow skier. His family and friends knew him as a very happy person with a good sense of humor and a sharp wit. He loved animals, especially his bird, Angel and Misty, his mother’s dog. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles and his beloved Chow, Ozzie.

A visitation for Toby will be held Wednesday, July 26, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Forest Park Westheimer Funeral Home, 12800 Westheimer Road, Houston, TX 77077. A funeral service will occur Thursday, July 27, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, 12800 Westheimer Road, Houston, TX 77077. A committal service will occur Thursday, July 27, 2023 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM, 12800 Westheimer Road, Houston, TX 77077.
