Tommie had a passion for helping others and it showed in her many years of service in retail and with the Aldine School District. As a lover of Christ, Tommie spent her free time in church. She also enjoyed gardening, watching her beloved Jose Altuve and the Astro’s, but her most favorite thing of all, was spending time with her grandbabies.
Tomasa is preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, two sisters and her son Alfred Ayala.
She is survived by her husband, Michael Skinner; two sons, Michael Skinner Jr. and wife Jeanette, Gary Skinner and wife Rowena; one daughter, Annette Boles; eleven grandchildren, Felicia Aldape, Maya Mizushima, April Boles, Kayla Ayala, Savannah Skinner, Michael Skinner III, Christian Ayala, Karelann Skinner, Micah Skinner, Brooke Skinner Viktoria Skinner; one great grandchild, Anna Luna Tressler; three brothers and one sister.

The family will receive friends for visitation on Sunday, January 24th from 6:00pm to 8:00pm. A funeral service will take place on Monday, January 25th at 10:30am at Brookside Funeral Home followed by a burial at Brookside Memorial Park.
