

Tony Charles Barnett passed away on February 5, 2012 in Houston, TX. Born on August 2, 1955 in Tulsa, OK. Proceeded in death by his father, Fred C. Barnett. Survived by his mother, Bobbie J. Williams; sisters, Joy R. Barnett and Sherrie’ McQuiston; nieces, Felicia R. Coker, Heather E. Phillips and Sabrina R. Burrow; nephew, Bradley E. Burrow; brother-in-law, Dennis R. McQuiston and Andrew D. Smith Sr.; great nephews; Andrew D. Smith Jr. and Hunter A. Griffin and great nieces; Addison R. Smith, Amie R. Smith, Ariel E. Garivay and Hailey R. Steward along with many other loving relatives and friends.
Tony worked in the family business with his father, Fred for several years before moving on to become a certified marine crew boat Captain in the oil field industry. Upon returning home he became involved in the auto business, buying and selling cars at the auto auction. Sometime later he became licensed to operate his private security business. During that time he became a Federal Fire Arms dealer and a licensed gunsmith. These were all passions of his and he took extreme pride in all he did.
His interests included listening to Pastor Murray during his drive time, listening to the Coast to Coast show at night and reading lots of books. He was an accomplished reader and he studied the many building techniques of natural earth homes and was planning on building an Adobe brick home on his own land and living out the rest of his life in nature…..oh and let’s not forget his lifelong dream of winning the lotto.
