Tony E. Broyles

Tony was born in Arvin, California to Ellis and Verona Broyles who preceded him in death. His family was originally from Alma, Arkansas where he spent part of his elementary school days. He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Kay, children Stephen Broyles, Jeannie Fimbres, Lysa Teter, Randy Squires, Steve Squires, 15 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and sister Lynda Young.

Tony graduated from Arvin High School and magna cum laude from University of Southern California. He worked as an engineer and consultant for several companies in the Los Angeles area including the AiResearch division of the Garrett Corporation. In 1978 he joined Ross Hill Controls in Houston, Texas where he had a long career as Vice-President, Engineering. His capability to create equipment designs which produced optimum performance from both mechanical and electrical standpoints made him unique in the power conversion industry. At the time of his death, Tony was affiliated with BTS Associates.

Tony was a very kind and compassionate man who enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, family and friends. We will all miss his witty sense of humor and love of life.

Memorial Services will be 3 p.m. Friday, December 10 at the Memorial Oaks Funeral Chapel, 13001 Katy Freeway, Houston, Texas 77079.
