Tony White was born on September 25, 1956 to the union of Ella Lee and Y.B.White in Houston, Texas. Tony accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior at a very young age and transitioned on August 21, 2022. After graduating from high school in 1974, Tony chose to serve his country by enlisting in the Navy Branch of the military on April 25, 1974 and receiving an honorable discharge.
He was preceded in death by his mother (Ella White), father (Y.B. White), 2 sisters (Ann Renfro), (Alberta Sinnette), and one brother (Charlie White).
He leaves to cherish his loving memory 3 beautiful daughters, Toni, Chimmery and Chelsea; 12 grandchildren, one great grandson, 8 siblings; Vera Pierson, Norma Washington, Evelyn Buchanan, Charles (Linda) White, Joyce Samuel, Quenzetta (Lee) Hall, Michael White, Johnnie White, and a very special companion Mel "Goldie" String.
A visitation for Tony will be held Thursday, September 8, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at American Heritage Funeral Home, 10710 Veterans Memorial Drive, Houston, TX 77038. A funeral service will occur Thursday, September 8, 2022 from 10:45 AM to 12:45 PM, 10710 Veterans Memorial Drive, Houston, TX 77038. A committal service will occur Thursday, September 8, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at Houston National Cemetery, 10410 Veterans Memorial Drive, Houston, TX 77038.
Serving as pallbearers are Brian Sinnette, Charles White, Jason Samuel , Lee Hall, Michael White, Reginald Rose and Willie Gamble.
