Travis Jarell Reynolds was born February 23, 1985, in Houston, TX to Erma Reynolds and Jimmie Fields. He was a son, brother and father that lived life to the fullest. Growing up as a young boy, Travis along with his cousins were always curious. His curiosity often created a lot of trouble for him and his cousins at grandma’s house. He was always seeking adventure. His grandmother soon learned that this curiosity was a prelude to the type of life that he would lead.
In middle school, Travis developed a passion for skating. He began skateboarding in the neighborhood with his friends and moved on to aggressive inline skating and never let it go, until picking up a pair of quad roller-skates, making him an even more versatile professional skater. Whatever he had a passion for, he did it to the fullest. That passion brought him much attention, from skating endorsements and even doing modeling spreads for Forever 21 and he was also illustrated in “Eat California” by Vivian Lui magazine.
Travis was the life of his mom’s house, if anyone there was not ready to have fun, he would make them ready! He was a BIG help to his mom, running errands, cutting the yard and building or fixing things. He was always ready to help and take care of what his mom needed.
After he became a father, his daughters were the center of his world. He always tried to be the father to his daughters that he never had growing up. He was always hanging out and doing things with his girls. He would take them to school, cook for them and spend quality time with them. He was not a TV dad to his girls; he always produced entertaining things to do with them. He loved his girls very much. Helping family was always on his to do list, no matter what or how far, if he were able, he would show up. He always wanted his family to be together and would always come up with activities that brought everyone together. Travis also created his own style, from his hairstyle, creating his own music, art and often customizing his own clothing. His friends would say that he was one of a kind. Anything outdoors was definitely his forte. He always spoke positively and tried to make people feel better, no matter the circumstances. Travis is preceded in death by his grandmothers, Bessie Reynolds, and Mattie Fields Lewis, Grandfathers, Lee Willie Towners and Johnny Lewis, Cousin, Kazeric Reynolds.
He leaves behind three daughters, Kallie, Nevaeh (twins), and Amayah Reynolds, his mother Erma Reynolds, (Sister) Taneka Reed Hackler (Brothers) Kenzale Reynolds and Weston Wilson (Roberta), and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.
