Trinetta Val Theras Clark Braxton

On February 16, 1961, a beautiful and vibrant baby girl was born to Essie B. Clark Davison and Billy Ray Clark in Houston, Texas. They named her Trinetta Val Theras Clark. She was the oldest of five children.

She accepted Christ at an early age at Greater Mt. Nebo Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor G. Burks.

She later united with Morning Star Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. JW Ross, where she remained faithful until becoming a founding member of the Holy Land Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of her uncle, Rev. Fletcher Jones. During her years as a member of Holy Land, Trinetta served as the Financial Clerk/Trustee and she was above board in managing the church finances being very instrumental in making sure there were proper checks and balances. She enjoyed working with the youth and was active in all areas of the church where she saw there was a need. Trinetta remained faithful to Christ and lastly became a founding member of Greater Impact Baptist Church under the leadership of her brother, Pastor Theadus Clark.

Trinetta was united in holy matrimony to Stanley Ray Braxton, in November of the year 2000.

Trinetta was employed at Foley’s Distribution Center for many years, where she worked in the Purchasing Department.

Trinetta was always concerned about the well-being of all she encountered, whether it was financially, spiritually or to simply lend a listening ear. She enjoyed being surrounded by her family and friends. Trinetta helped raise many children equipping them to be strong-minded and successful individuals.

On Friday Morning , March 13,2020 the Lord called Trinetta name and she answered.

Trinetta was preceded in death by her mother (Essie B. Davison), her step-father (William A. Davison) and her nephew (Thearon Clark).

She leaves to cherish her loving memories; her Husband: Stanley Braxton, her sons: Jarvis J Clark, Samuel Clark, Toni Clark (fiancé Tia Reed), Jamel Braxton, Erik Braxton, Demon Braxton, Davon Braxton; Her Nephew whom she raised as her son Darriel Clark; Eight Grandchildren; Her father, Billy Ray Clark; One sister Vilettie Clark; three Brothers: Ira Craig Clark, Theadus Clark ( Connye), and Terry Clark Sr., two stepsisters Vivian Clark and Genise Ryans (Ray); One step Brother Paul Davison (Cynthia); Nieces and nephews, Vilethea Clark, Breanna Clark, Sharay Ryans, Coesha Davison, Rhonda Ryans, Geneva Elder, Devonzic Clark, Terry Clark Jr., Thealon Clark, Paul Davison, Ray Ryans; Special Cousins whom she assisted raising Terrance Jones, Clarence Young III, and Lawrence Young; a god-daughter Lauren D Young; god-brother Derrick Scott; god-sister Geraldine Qualls and her children, Dwaynia Paul, Gerwayne Collins, Dwayne Qualls and Toni Rae Qualls. Five step children; Shaundra Ryans, Zach Ryans, Tamika Booker, Bernadette Booker and Stanley Booker. A very special aunt, Lillie Mae Burley and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.
